Blog #7 - The Past is Present

I think the saying “The past is Present” is saying that the past will always affect the present. Say as a child you got attacked by a dog, even though it’s in the past you’re still afraid of dogs today. The past affected your present. Even though we say it’s all in the past, it never truly is. We are unable to let go of something completely because it is always in our conscience.

  1. That's a good example. And when you look at the big picture, the past is what makes all of us who we are. We can't change the past, but we can determine to some degree how we react to it and how much we let it bother us.
